  • As per the rule, the additional baggage allowance for PPS Club members, KrisFlyer Elite Gold, and Star Alliance Gold members is only applicable on those flights that are operated by Singapore Airlines.

Singapore Airlines Non-standard Baggage Allowance 

  • Singapore Airlines allows passengers to carry heavy and large items, such as musical instruments and sporting equipment. 
  • Most of these items can be checked in or carried onboard. However, at the time of arrival, these non-standard baggage might come out from a different carousel from your normal baggage.

  • According to Singapore Airlines Musical Instruments Policy, all the instruments must be packed in a rigid protective case.

  • Additionally, depending on the weight and size of your musical instrument, travelers can carry it as cabin seat baggage or checked baggage.
