How to Use Qcredits Qatar Airways?
Most of the major airlines provide passengers with travel credits in situations where a refund isn’t possible. This is a way to compensate the passengers & allow them to purchase services from the airline in the future. In the case of Qatar Airways, these are called Qcredits. What Are Qatar Qcredits?
Passengers can use Qcredits, a reward benefit given to Gold and Platinum members, to pay for a variety of services, including award upgrades, extra baggage on Qatar Airways, award fees, and entry to the guest lounge.
- Firstly, members of the Gold and Platinum Privilege Club can accumulate Qcredits.
- You receive 40 credits when you reach Privilege Club Gold and 60 credits when you reach Privilege Club Platinum.
- These credits can be used to cover additional baggage fees, upgrading costs, and award fees.
- For every 100 Qpoints Platinum members earn over 600, they receive 10 bonus credits. (For instance, if you get 700 Q points, you’ll receive an extra 10 Q credits.)
- Qcredits expire annually, so if you don’t utilize them, you lose them; if you keep your status, they last for two years.

Qatar Airways Qcredits Terms and conditions
- It’s possible that tickets purchased using certain promotional rates won’t be eligible for an upgrade with Qcredits. For more information, check your ticket or get in touch with any Qatar Airways office.
- Main participants and passengers must fly on Qatar Airways-marketed and -operated flights.
- The passenger’s flight must leave three hours or less after the primary member’s flight.

How to Use QCredits Qatar Airways?
For Upgrading

- In addition to upgrades from Business to First Class, passengers may also upgrade using Qcredits from Economy to Business Class (or First Class in cases when Business Class is not available on the route).
- Qcredits are good for two years as long as you keep your tier and are refundable when used for award upgrades.

How do I upgrade with Qcredits?
The next step is to upgrade with Qcredits online.
- Log into your account and select “Redeem Avios” before selecting “Upgrade on Qatar Airways.”
- To access the booking, enter your last name and booking reference.
- Select the travelers you want to upgrade.
- Select the flights you want to upgrade as well. If you have enough Qcredits, upgrading an entire leg is preferable to upgrading individual segments.
- Verify that the needed number of Qcredits corresponds to your study.
- Send an SMS to confirm your one-time PIN.
- Upon successful upgrade, you will receive a confirmation email.
Use your Qcredits for extra baggage
- You can travel with that additional luggage for no additional charge when using Qcredits.
- Spend Qcredits on extra baggage on Qatar Airways flights, whether it’s for you or someone else.
- In the case of excess luggage, Qcredits are not refundable.
Payment of award fees
- Modifications and cancellations of award reservations incur expenses. You must pay the applicable per-passenger award ticket costs when picking up your award tickets and/or upgrades.
- You have the choice to utilize your Qcredits as a form of payment for fees in addition to cash or credit cards.
- The use of Qcredits to pay award fees is not refundable.

Guest lounge access

- While you and your guest wait for your Qatar Airways flights, redeem your Qcredits and invite a guest to enjoy premium lounge access* with you at Hamad International Airport.
- Log into your membership account, select “Redeem Avios and Qcredits” from the menu, then select “Purchase lounge passes” to purchase guest lounge access using your Qcredits.
- When used to purchase lounge admission, Qcredits are not transferable.
Things you should know about Qcredits
- Qcredit upgrades are only valid on flights operated by Qatar.
- Remember that you wouldn’t be able to utilize your Qcredits if you purchased a code-share and the flight was run by QR but didn’t have a Qatar Airways flight number.
- As long as the aircraft is run by Qatar Airways and has a QR flight number, tickets purchased through a travel agent are likewise acceptable.
- Anyone can be upgraded with Qcredits; they are not required to be related to you.
